New Content Installed

I recently started experiencing this, and haven't been able to enjoy a game without it freezing my Playthrough and popping up. Constantly. I have restarted my router and that gave me just a one day fix, uninstalled the sims and reinstalled it, turned off my power block and turned it back on. Nothing. It's still happening. It has also being disconnecting my Xbox Live and saying it has something to do with my internet but I checked my internet connection, and nothing is out of place? I'm getting fed up with this and just want to enjoy my game again without this happening every minute I'm on.
