No room to save new households

We have 10 saved households that are spread across a few different game saves but in some games saves our characters are there but not in the form that we left them. In all of our game saves we can have up to 150 sims and some of them are in the stages we left them and some aren’t, and we are no where near the 150 sims maximum. Sometimes when we go to a particular game save it says that we have played our characters that are in different different stages from what they are supposed to be.
- @WolfDog127R What do you mean by different stages ? If you have aging on, the Sims you don't play age and all of the SIms go on with their lives when you don't play them,
They shouldn't however get married or have kids when you don't play them unless a Sim is already pregnant.

Thank you for your reply. It is difficult to describe but for example we have a character who is living with another person as an elder, there is another games save with his younger self who lives on his own and another of his other self who is also an elder but lives alone. This may be a problem that we have created!
The main problem is that in all game saves we have a small amount of Sims, mostly the same ones over, but we are not able to save any new families even though our maximum sim amount should be 150.

@WolfDog127R So basically you can't place more families in your save game ? Are you getting an error message when trying to do so ?
Save games are not connected with each other so what you do in one save, shouldn't affect the other save.
