@Mi_chiamo_SaulBTW you could double check by booting up into your game and creating a "Testing save" saved file for testing purposes. If you have a USB or External storage device? You can Bacup your saves to that data storage too. That would simplify things for you to be honest 🙂 let me know if you need help how to save games to an external hard drive!
Saved games online:
**Once you have backed-up your saved games data using the steps above, providing you are a PS plus subscriber.... Please make sure that you are! Then this should work, because after you delete the saved data, (Library and Auto saves too) You can easily backup your saved gama data and restore it by Syncing* But be aware Syncing data from Online storage (usually this process is automatically triggered when booting up your game, it will ask if you wish to sync!) takes a bit of time! On Xbox via the Cloud it takes a good 20 minutes in some instances. Perhaps PS Plus is faster tho hehe :P
BTW. If the Auto - sync isn't working. You can manually go it yourself quite easily.
To do this,
Highlight the game, press the OPTIONS button, and then select [Upload/Download Saved Data].
It's also possible to use the automatic upload feature. For details, please refer back to the Auto-Upload steps I typed in the above post.
Online storage can have up to 100 GB of saved data from PS4 games and 100 GB of saved data from PS5 games respectively. So you should be all good for The Sims 4 haha!
To view the progress of uploads, select (Notifications) from the function screen.
@COSMICSMURFERCopy to USB Storage Device
As a backup, you can copy saved data to a USB storage device connected to your PS4 system. Copy saved data from the USB storage device to a PS5 console or another PS4 system.
For each game, you can select the saved data to copy.
To use this feature, you need to have signed in to PlayStation Network at least once.
**FAT and exFAT formatted USB storage devices are supported**
Be sure to fully insert the USB storage device into the USB port. Some devices are not compatible due to shape or design.
Okay I've typed up a storm now, and I don't want to annoy anyone here lmao. So I think I'll end it here. If you need any more help be sure to ask and I'd be happy to try offer any assistance! Have a lovely day, hope you get your game running smooth again ( or at least running at all). Fingers all crossed we'll get a patch / fix for all the Simulation Lag and other bugs this next Laundry List update. Happy Simming! 🙂
