PS4: headset disconnected, no microphone you can use popups

Hi! Does anyone else often get a popup that says headset disconnected followed by one that says no microphone that you can use on their PS4 while playing Sims 4? I don’t use a headset or microphone, ...

@Rae_RegenbogenThis post is in the correct forums, so no need to move it. The only thing I could find on this is when users had a controller connected to their playstation they would get this microphone connect/disconnect popup frequently. and it was a bad cable. Try replacing the cable you are using on the controller and see if the issue persists.

I just had to purchase new joycons for my switch, so I’ll grab a new PS4 cable in a week or so. I’ll let you know. Thank you for the tip!
