Re: Connection is Required error
Okay, so whenever I launch the Sims 4 on my PS5 it automatically just goes to the menu screen and doesn’t make me sign in. However, it keeps giving me this error message: “EA app authentication failed. Please log in to EA app to enable online features.” Here’s everything I have tried: I’ve checked my network connection (all good), I’ve renewed my license, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the game, and I’ve restarted my PS5. It does not give me an option to sign in anywhere, not even on the “other” tab in Game Options, which has been recommended to people with a similar issue. I’ve tried so many times to reconnect using the “reconnect and resume download” button on the Sims Delivery tab to no avail as it keeps giving me the same error message. Also, every time I change the settings on the Game Options tab, it goes back to its original state whenever I close the game and open it again. I have no mods or expansion packs, just the base game with all updates. I’m at a loss for what to do - this is so frustrating. Please somebody help!!!
