Re: [FAQ] Sims 4 Console Download and DLC Issues

Hi there @HailataStix,

It sounds like the base game or DLC isn't fully installed to your console. Let's try these steps to be sure all the content is installed:

  1. Quit the game if you have it running.
  2. Go to your Library.
  3. Choose Purchased.
  4. Select The Sims 4.
  5. Scroll down to Playstation Store and open My Add ons.
  6. Find your DLC and base game in the list and start the download.
  7. When the download finishes, let your new content install and restart your game.

Let me know if you still have issues once you've tried this.

  • @EA_Solaire Hi thanks so much for the response. I’m in the add ons part but it doesn’t have the base game in here. Should I just reinstall all add ons?

    @HailataStix

    The base game should be located just under the Library section, let's make sure that's installed first before trying your DLC.

    Were you able to get everything reinstalled properly and get that error message cleared up?

    @HailataStix

    Are you game-sharing with anyone, or has the base game and all your DLC been purchased on your account directly?

  • Originally yes it was a game share then I bought the game myself almost two years ago. I’m guessing the problem started once they shared another game with someone else and that’s when my game stopped working
