No I have not tried that and will check. Im going to try to video grab it when I play next.

This is what its been doing. I am clicking buttons and the game doesnt respond to it usually itll stay like that and the only way to fix would be to shut down the game/console but luckily when it happened this time I didnt have to.

Thanks for these details, please try the following steps:
1. Turn off Your system completely, let it sit for a few minutes and power it back on.
2. Make sure your game is up to date.
- Go to the PlayStation home screen.
- Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
- Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.
- Restart the Console completely.
3. Make sure your console system software is up to date.
- Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
- Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
- Reboot your PlayStation.
4. Uninstall and Reinstall the game:
- Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Delete.
- Select a game or application.
- Set check marks beside the data you wish to delete or Select All.
- Select Delete > then OK to confirm your decision.

I have done that and it does that still but not as much as before and after a while it actually lets me actually click and enter selection
