- @ktjsnzoqbbmt My apologies I should have said by hard restart I mean switch your console off and then start again if you're not going to lose too much of your work.
I say switch off because when the reaper is there it usually won't allow you to exit the game any other way. If you have a console with a Quick Resume feature like I do, I'd recommend power cycling your console too or it will take you back to the stuck reaper point. So turn off the console with the power button and hold it down until the power light stops flashing altogether, then remove it's power cable and leave for a couple of minutes for Xbox or 20 minutes for PS. Then load your game as usual and it will return to your last save point or auto save point, because the game saves itself when travelling so check the time on the auto save and your game save to pick the most current. As you initially load the game from the console home screen I should point out you may see that it's doing a "data synch" it does this if you switch off suddenly and it's retrieving your save data.
If you then want to test the reaper/death again, when your game is loaded up from a safe point, save it again first with a different name. So you have 2 saves of one game. That's how I do it so if something happens in my main save game it's okay because I have an identical copy as my back up.
He was doing exactly the same thing for me with the tablet but he eventually put it away. But if yours has gone on for sometime it may be stuck. Ok I will try this n let u know how it works.
Sadly it’s still not working
- @ktjsnzoqbbmt What I would do is add what happens to the bug report thread I linked on the first post and on the first page of the bug reports click Me Too.
I'd then avoid deaths for now until it's fixed. Because bug reports have been filed, that puts it on the game developers radar so they are aware of it and that means it should hopefully be fixed in an upcoming update. It's really unfortunate that when this happens we have to avoid repeating that action until it's fixed. I don't usually have deaths in my game, when a Sim dies I quickly revert to my back up save, but I just wanted the one Sim to die for my paranormal investigator Sim. It was such a sad moment as her fiancé died but then the drama was paused until the reaper stopped playing on his tablet! If you want to add a full bug report yourself here's a bug template. You just need to copy it, click Reply on the bug thread on my first post and then paste it and fill in your own information. From the other bug reports you will see examples. I've filled in some of it for you already to start it off. If you can take a photo of the problem there is an option to attach an image, you sometimes have to crop it to reduce the file size before adding it. So I take a picture with my phone or tablet, crop it and then add it from my file storage.
