Sims 4 Console Issues

SabinaGames the fishing spots bug has been widely reported and hopefully will be fixed in a future patch, I'm attaching the bug report for you along with some info about our bug forum and how that works and our list of reported bugs if you'd like to take a look for your other issue. 

Many players are still able to fish from an Outrigger Canoe placed near the fishing spot, if you place one near a fishing spot your Sim should automatically go to the canoe to fish. That's working for me on Xbox. So for example if you want to test if this works for you, during the fishing competition in Ohan'ali Town there's a small pier where competitors fish and if I put an Outrigger Canoe next to that pier my Sim goes to the boat. For the drowning Sims problem, make sure your Sim has a high fitness skill and doesn't swim for too long. Also save your game before they start swimming. I find my Sims are more likely to get into difficulty in the water if they've completed one swimming action and I then add 1 or 2 more.
