Sims 4 Gallery feature not working on PS4
The new Gallery function added to the core game not working across all platforms. I am on a PS4 Pro. Shortly after the Gallery feature was added to the core game it started removing items from personal inventory, items already collected for collections would show up as “new” items again and then followed by completed aspiration tasks were suddenly shown as not completed. This was followed a short time later by error codes when trying to save your game. Then the Gallery feature would indicate you were off-line and thus no on-line features were accessible and you could not use the Gallery feature. When clicking the “Connect” option in the pop-up window it was say “Trying to Connect” but it either just spun uselessly forever or quit with no connection being made.
Seriously, does anything in this game work? Maxis must have the world’s worst and laziest game programmer’s.
I deleted the game. Re-built the database. Installed ONLY the core game. (so far so good). I installed only the packs with a 2017 release date. (So far so good). I installed the packs with a 2018 release date. (Nothing worked.) I installed the packs with a 2019 release date. (Working again as of last time played last night.)
This issue is, but one of a long list of problems which EA ignores until beaten over the head with it. Square Enix let’s players report problems in-game and they FIX them!
