Sims 4 not loading on ps4
So my sims games have not been loading. It loads to the main menu screen then to the screen where you can pick your household. But after I click my household, it does not load. I’ve googled stuff to fix this but it’s all for pc. It has happened ever since the new update for the different skin tones and makeup came out. I’ve tried creating new games and it loads fine until I save it and then come back later. I’ve tried clearing cache, restoring licenses, deleting the game, restarting the console, unplugging the console, etc. I would very much appreciate if someone had a solution. Thank you!
@Iconictrash_000 If this also happens on new games, you may want to try to rebuild your database.
- Turn off the PS4 system by pressing the power button on the front panel. The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off.
- Once the PS4 system is off, press and hold the power button again. Release it after you hear the second beep: one beep will sound when you first press, and another seven seconds later.
- Connect the DUALSHOCK 4 with the USB cable and press the PS button on the controller
- Select Rebuild Database
I've seen this issue pop up from time to time and it's usually solved by moving the family to a new lot or placing the family in a new game because a house or relationship is corrupted.
If you are seeing this in every game, it could point to a drive issue corrupting your game.
