Sims 4 Ps4 Phone behaving strangely after March 15th update

So I downloaded the new update a little while ago, and since then my sim's phone has been acting a bit weird. Sometimes when I select it, the menu will flash briefly on the screen and abruptly close itself again. I have to select it three times to get the menu to stay up. This doesn't happen all the time, but it definitely wasn't doing it before. But the thing I'm really kind of frustrated with is that now I can't seem to answer my sim's phone. I have Dine Out, so occasionally my sim will get a call from a friend asking him to go out, and I want to say yes but now selecting the call just cancels it. The call will pop up and if select the x or the green accept button, it cancels the call. Normally the menu pops up after hitting accept, with "ok", "ok and select sims to travel with", or "cancel". I cannot figure out how to answer his phone now. Am I doing something wrong?

    @bknht Yes, a little bit like that. Only my cursor doesn't go crazy like in the first video(though it has before), it just will not let me accept the phone call no matter what I select. The "ok" or "cancel" menu won't show up. It just cancels the call all together. I'll be using the cursor and select the green "accept" button in the call menu and it will act like I've selected the x instead.

    I had this problem you described often since the patch. The cursor was at multiple points on the screen at once and sometimes I would click on an object to bring up the menu while simultaneously the cursor was at the "x" for closing the call window. Sometimes it's even multiple selections active on the same dialog, as with the call. Well, let's hope they read this and can fix it soon.

    Yeah, that seems like what's happening with mine. I tried selecting the phone icon itself during a call, and that worked once but now it doesn't. I'm really frustrated with this.

    Hi again @bknht. Thought I should let you know that I found a little workaround for the phone. So when my sim gets a call, I select the "Center on Current Lot" button next to the phone icon. This makes the phone menu pop up and I can answer the call normally. I don't know if this will help your issue at all, but it's worked for me so maybe you could try it. Thanks for your help!  I do hope EA fixes this issue soon.
