Sims 4 won’t open on console

If I click on my game to open sims on my Xbox console it shuts the Xbox completely out and brings my back up to my “input selection” box. I can play all my other games and cleaned out the Xbox and tv and the ports on both. Then I uninstalled and re-installed the game and still it isn’t working. Please help.

    Thanks, that sounds like the TV display settings are not correctly set up on your Xbox- please follow the steps here. 

    If these steps don't resolve the issue, you'll want to get in contact with Xbox support to look into this further with you.

    Could you attach a screenshot to your post please of the message you're seeing when you try to play Sims?

    There is no message it just kicks my Xbox off the hdmi connection
