The Sims 4 Freezing Randomly - Xbox One
I have recently bought The Sims 4 at gamestop for my xbox one. I've been dying to play since origin stopped working on my laptop for unknown reasons. I bought the game new and got home excitedly inserting the disc and began installing it. At 99% it just stopped. I waited and waited then it said installation stopped. Pressing resume it did for a seconded the same problem happened again. Canceling it entirely and restarting it stopped at 97%. I tried again multiple times. Eventually after doing a hard restart on my xbox it worked. Finally joy at last right? It would seem. I load the game up it syncs fine and starts fine. Creating a sim was fine. Then I moved into a house and began enjoying the game having just finished adding furniture. Pressing live mode I noticed my sim froze. Arms out. It was creepy but I've had it happen on my PC before and I corrected it by using a cheat to reset my sim no problem. However I don't know how to use cheats with a console. Reloading my save everything then went fine. I played a while enjoying the game and it just froze all together. This time the menu wouldn't even appear. I've had his happen once or twice with Fallout 4 but it hasn't happened in a long time. Closing the game via xbox home I reloaded it and everything was fine aside from the fact it went back to my auto save. Figuring it was a one time thing I went about and it happened again. Now it's frustrating. Restarting my console didn't help, it happens every few minutes or if anything big happens such as traveling or events. I have to periodically save in fear that it will freeze again. Uninstalling and clearing the cache for it all together I reinstalled it ran into the same problems installing but didn't have to do a hard restart this time. Sadly after all the effort it did me no good. I haven't seen any other threads similar to this on. It's quite frustrating not even being able to get help from others. Is it my console or disc perhaps? If anyone has had a similar problem and found the solution please notify me. I don't have any expansions or mods even just the base game.
