Windows and doors occasionally/often glitch into walls for no reason

I'm having this issue where my windows and doors will become part of the wall and I have to go onto build mode and select, and put back down in the exact same spot they were then it's fine, then ...

I have that too. From the beginning, ever since I play the Sims 4. It would be nice if this could be fixed as it doesn‘t seem to affect PC Players.
I play on the PS5.

    I get it on pc too - it’s been happening for like a year but I haven’t bothered trying to fix it until now bc it’s just annoying not game breaking 🙃

      Okay, then that‘s new. Well, there have been quite a few Updates in that time.
      Yesterday I went from live mode to build mode, where I placed an object. Then I went back to live mode, and the door looked like the picture from the Thread creator. That‘s annoying because I then had to go back to build mode to update the door.
      This definitely shouldn‘t be like that.
