All my cc and saves suddenly disappeared from my game!!!

Hello,

I have been playing Sims 4 on my mac for about a year now!

Today when I opened up my sims all of my cc and saved games where gone!!

I have tried everything other forums have said but nothing works!!!!

My saves and cc are still on my finder and are in Documents> Electronic Arts> Sims 4> Mods or Saves

But when I open up the game it's like I have never played it before and all my progress is GONE!!!

My questions is: How do I get my saves and cc back???

Please help me find a solution to this!!!

    Are you using iCloud Drive? https://bluebellflora.com/2017/02/06/sims-3-and-sims-4-not-loading-save-games/

    Even though iCloud Drive stores your Documents folder in the cloud, it also keeps it local so the game still thinks the user data is stored on the machine in the Documents folder. When your internal storage gets too full it will keep pushing the contents of your Documents folder to the cloud where the game doesn't look, thereby creating a new Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder every time.

    I had already tried this before... My sims is still not recovering the saves though

    Do you have any other ideas or options?

    @Puppywh 

    Let's double check their exact location. Please could you click on your saves folder once to select it then go to File > Get Info. Under the General > Where section near the top of the info window please copy and paste the location of your saves folder here.
