Can't delete stairs, never ending loading + saving screen + more.

I tested this on vanilla and the same thing happened as the modded version. I also have cheats on (bb.moveobjects) I have all packs and kits/stuff if that is relevant.

I can add one staircase to the entrance of my house but cannot expand it. I was able to make it one tile bigger but not two. And when I tried to expand it to 3 tiles total it said "Op generation failed", it also will say "nothing to delete" but not delete. And when I pick up the stairs or the vine curtain, in front of the house, I cannot place it down anywhere. I also cannot delete my staircase once placed, or the curtain that I put up to my entrance. I am able to delete other items in the house, so I don't know why it's glitching like this. I got the house from the gallery and can provide the ID if needed. The stairs are the "Unremarkable Staircase" from base game. I can save my sims to my library, but not the house after I've added stairs (haven't tried before yet but I'm certain it's the same). It does the same thing no matter how I align it with the house also.

And I've tried to save after adding the stairs but I am forced into an unending save screen or an unending loading screen. When I try to save the sims and cats are loaded in, so it shouldn't be that. And when I tried to save the house to my library the photos were all loaded in as well. This all started after the update, I've repaired it thousands of times and don't understand why it is glitching. Reddit is no help. And the only other person I've seen have this problem are Sims 2 players or people on here from 8 months ago that are no longer active. I don't just want to know how to delete my stairs, I want to know WHY this is happening so I can prevent it in the future.

I'd also be happy to provide my save file and any information necessary to fix this problem. I haven't been able to play since the update and I miss it >_<
