HELP!

so I downloaded cc's to my sims, everything was working fine in build mode then in live mode i couldn't see my sim icon, it said i needed to chose an aspiration even though i did. I couldn't interact with anything. when i restarted the game there was a random family and glitchy menu. I wiped all of my cc's and EA files from my mac. uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game and the same exact problems are there. Im really frustrated because i just purchased the new expansion pack and i cant even play it :|
