School Activities Not Working

A lot of actions regarding school for my household's teenager aren't working. These include the option to do homework isn't there, it's not asking if I want to follow her to school (I have high school years and asking is set to on), and clicking "go to activity" isn't sending the teenager to her after school activity or even starting the action. I don't use mods so that isn't affecting the gameplay and I've tried resetting the sim, resetting the objects, and repairing the game and all packs. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix it? It's super annoying and it's tanking her character values/traits.
