Sims 4 doesn't open and this is my last resort

I recently decided to transfer my Sims 4 game to a USB drive to help manage space on my computer. This decision was made after transitioning to the EA app, but I hadn't played the game on this platform before. I followed all the necessary steps, and the transfer seemed successful. I opened the game, and it worked fine, so I assumed everything was in order. That was two days ago.

Today, I decided to purchase the "Business & Hobbies" pack. After buying it, I attempted to open the game, but I encountered error code 85262c58:29f00e76:00000000:00000000, which stated that the game needed to be repaired.

I repaired the game via the EA app, but the same error appeared. I looked online for solutions, and the advice was to uninstall and reinstall the game. I did so, but afterward, the EA app requested full access to my computer storage (which it already had). I restarted my computer and reopened the EA app, but the same error code appeared.

I then followed the steps provided on this forum for this kind of error code  and restarted my computer again, but the issue persists.

MIND YOU I DONT MIND LOOSING MY SAVES. Is there a way to like factory reset the sims? Like force quit but force delete to reinstall?
