Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? This has happened to me a few times, and sometimes that seems to work. Sometimes I completely shut my Mac off, then restart it again, which sometimes fixes it.

Yeah I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Sims 4 and the EA app itself, desn't work :/ Should I try multiple times?

You rarely ever need to uninstall EA App and the game. Most issues are in the user data folder.
