will this Apple Mac meet system requirements for the sims 4?
I've had the sims 4 on my laptop since it first came out but due to my laptop system I was only able to play it on low/medium settings which was unfortunate.
In the morning I am getting an Apple Mac and was curious if it would be able to handle ultra settings smoothly? I checked the minimum requirements but was not still 100% sure. I will mostly use the mac for the sims so it's important for me that it can run on the highest settings.
the Apple Mac specs:
21.5-inch LED-backlit display with IPS technology
1.4GHz dual core Intel™ Core i5® processor
8GB (two 4GB) of 1600MHz DDR3 memory
500Gb Solid State Drive
Intel® HD Graphics 5000
Ultrafast all-flash storage
802.11ac Wi-Fi support
Thunderbolt and USB 3 ports
OS X Mavericks - The latest Mac operating system
please get back to me as soon as you can! thankyou x

That Mac is a 2014 model and was the most basic 21" aimed at education customers. OS X 10.9.x Mavericks is not the current operating system, OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan is but you will be able to update through the App Store. As @fons_garmo has said, low/medium will probably be the best you can hope for if you want a lag free game.
