I'm not sure this is a bug or by design, but is the pay for the actor career correct? I have reached level 10 and the job info says $9,800 median but there are no gigs available for that pay. The fame perk "easy street" does not seem to increase the payment at all either.
Have you tried changinging agency? The two first available do not offer high paying gigs.Notice that you can still choose to accept lower paying Gigs if you want.
I have, the biggest pay I have been able to get from any agency is around $7,000. Even then, I believe the easy street perk should work for the actor career which should double that.
