I've experienced the same thing. Bonus content isn't always included when buying from third party suppliers. I had to purchase the bonus items as separate DLC. I'm in the UK and paid £25.99 for the EP and £2.99 for the 3 bonus items - still cheaper than EA. If you search "Sims Business" the bonus dlc should be available to buy separately :)
