Blast from the past - can’t claim

Hi

im trying to claim items I’ve earned through the blast from the past event but it keeps saying i need to be connected to the internet — but i am connected to the internet already. I’ve tried going offline and online again on the EA app and I’ve tried turning my wifi off and on again and I’ve tried turning off mods and it still just keeps saying the same thing?
