Blast from the Past crash- no “replace” option

While finishing up event progress tonight, my game crashed. Upon restarting, my completed event rewards were gone from my Sim’s inventory- although I can find them in build/buy- and my time travel component was missing. I looked for the “replace” option at my sim’s mailbox, but it was not there. Any other ideas for how to regain the time travel component?
