Can’t launch New Game or Save Old One

Question

Let me preface this but saying I have never had any CC downloaded so that is not an issue.

since the June update my sims game does not save nor will it let me start a new game. I can use CAS but when I try to play it just freezes.

I clicked repair on the game manager and cleared my cache on EA through ‘app recovery’ and it hasn’t solved anything.

any ideas as to how I can fix this? Or is my game just unplayable until they release an update to fix their update.

Springpickles​&nbsp; Please check your antivirus for any recent actions involving Sims 4, and set exceptions/exclusions as necessary.&nbsp; This also applies to Controlled Folder Access if you only use Windows Defender.&nbsp; The exceptions need to be for both TS4_x64.exe and TS4_x64_fpb.exe.
If that doesn't help, let me know whether your Sims 4 user folder is inside a OneDrive folder.&nbsp; Here's how to find out:
