Can't find Mods folder

I am on PC, Windows 11. From everything I've seen online, the game should auto-generate a Mods folder when you enable mods and then start the game again. I have done this, but still no Mods folder. I have also noticed a discrepancy between what I was told online and what is actually on my computer. When I go to Program Files and look in the Electronic Arts folder, the only files there are for the EA Games desktop launcher; instead, the Sims 4 folder is in the EA Games folder. Does it matter that I'm playing The Sims 4 from the EA Games launcher? I can't imagine the game would give you the option to mod it if you couldn't actually do so.

UPDATE: This has been resolved, it was in the Documents folder, not Program Files. I guess the location is different if you're using the EA Games app.

  • businesspear1  The Mods folder has always been in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  Where are you seeing any different?  I'd like to know if there's a source out there telling people to look in Program Files > Electronic Arts, which is not even a folder that existed prior to the introduction of the EA App.
