Can't login to Sims 4 because I had to upgrade my Origin account

After I'd started playing Sims 4 I had to upgrade my Origin account and choose a new user name. Now I can't access my Sims 4 game because I have already used the product code and it won't let me inpu...

I restarted my computer. I logged in here: https://www.thesims.com and I looked for the download button and there was none. Is this the problem you had?

    Hi @frankensoph

    you'll need to download the Origin client here: http://origin.com/download then login with the account you own the game on

    You should then find the game in your game library to download
