Can't open the game after MC Command Center Installation

I've tried to open it through Steam and through EA but everytime I do, it says I'm 'playing' the game but no actual pop-up for the game shows up. This only happened after I downloaded MC Command Center which I find strange as I have downloaded into before in the past and this is the first time this has happened to me. I'm not getting an error code either - I just straight up can't open the game..

I even tried to take out other mods I thought was causing the issue with no luck.. The 'use a new folder' trick doesn't seem to be working either..

    VoidButChaotic​  Have you tried removing MCCC, or the entire Mods folder?  If not, please do so now.

    As for the "'use a new folder' trick," as you've called it, it only helps if you remove or rename the correct Sims 4 folder (i.e. the one the game is using), and if you don't put anything in the new folder, AND if you don't have OneDrive or another service that syncs your files and might restore the old Sims 4 folder before you get a chance to test.  If you think one of these might be the reason trying a new folder didn't help, let me know.
