Cant remove items in cas. The little x is not working

OMG I'm having this issue too! Most items in CAS won't remove with X or even if I select another item. I have to click furiously on multiple items for the item to be removed. It's like the items get stuck on the sim. Ugh...this (among other issues) is since the latest update. 

sc73qxo7jmf8 Please post screenshots of the distortion you're seeing.  And let me know whether clicking around the X (above/below/to one side or the other) helps.

I would also like to know whether this happens with no mods or custom content present.  You don't need to save your progress.

ny2vegas  The same applies to you, except for the distortion if you're not seeing that.

This is how mine is

linsom278​  Please remove your Mods folder and delete localthumbcache.package, then test CAS again.  You don't need to save your progress, or you can start a new save rather than loading an existing one.  The point is to find out whether a mod or cc item is the cause of the issue.

I have the same issue as the user above, looks exactly the same. I removed the mods folder and deleted localthumbcache.package and now it works.

Since this worked, you can use Broken & Updated Mods & CC and the testing instructions in How to Use Mods and CC to solve the problem.

i deleted the file but still have that problem wih mods activated, what mod or cc could it be possibly?
