[CC RELATED] My sims won't eat!

I was also having what sounds like the same issue right after installing Cats & Dogs.  I finally moved my sims out of their home, onto a random lot, and then moved them back into their original house, and it fixed my issue.

Please try @XoXNeoQueenXoX suggestion above. If that doesn't work:  

 Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

Repair your game after renaming the folder.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? After downloading Sims Cats and Dogs, my sims WILL NOT eat, they can not pick up their kittens and puppies, the pets don't do anything on their own, can't take the dogs or cats on a walk. Everything is glitching.
What happens when the bug occurs? I exit my game, restart my computer, repair the game, nothing is working.
What do you expect to see? RESULTS! Be able to take my dogs/cats on a walk Be able to eat meals (to not have to use cheats so my sims wont die!) Be able to pick up my kittens/puppies Have the animals do things on their own

After downloading Sims 4: Cats and Dogs, tons of glitches starting happening to my game.

I am unable to take my animals on walks, my sims glitch when they eat (resulting in me having to use cheats so they don't die), not being able to go through the adoption process, not being able to pick up any kittens/puppies, my animals not doing anything on their own.

I've restarted my computer, I've repaired the game (more than once), nothing is working.

Please remove all your mods/cc and try without.

You might need to move them out and back in but the food issue is most likely mod related and the rest sounds also as if caused by a mod/cc

I have the exact same problems. And did everything you said. I really think it's because of cats &dogs. Yesterday nothing was wrong with my game before I installed it. 

And you have no mods ?

Deleted them, still the same. 

I'm having the same issues. My sims won't eat, I can't pick up my puppies, the sims won't use their phones... After I command them to eat or pick up a plate, the  command disappear and the sims arms go out and in again. All this happened after I downloaded Cats and Dogs. I have CC, but no mods installed. It's really annoying, I've been looking forward to playing Cats and Dogs for SO long now ☹️
