My entire computer freezes while playing Sims 4. I am unable to close the game or even move my mouse, and have to hard reset the computer. I've tried reseting my game data to factory settings with no success. Also tried starting a new game with no change, as well as playing in offline mode.No Mods are being used. The freezing is apparently random with no clear constant cause. This is a problem I've been having for several weeks now with no luck of finding a cause.DXDiagIn the crashes FAQ I saw the recommendation to link a lastcrash.txt, but all I had in the folder at all similar was a lastException.txt.I don't know if it's relevant, but it's the only last.txt with a recent time stamp.lastException_63572846096Any advice or insight will be appreciated.

Temperature seems to be a steady 40-43C while playing (didn't want to play too long in case it might freeze again). Not sure if computer is overclocked, it should be (I asked the computer guys to do it) but they never showed me that they actually did.And it doesn't unfreeze, at least not for me.

Could you monitor your CPU temperatures while playing? Use software like CoreTemp or HW Monitor.

My computer isn't overclocked. I thought it might have been overheating so I tried playing the game at minimal settings and still had the same issue.

Computer is continuing to freeze during gameplay. I used AMD Catalyst Control to monitor the temperature of the card while playing and during the crash it had it at 70c.
The computer does not unfreeze after it has frozen. I've tried waiting several hours before with no change.

Is this an issue that started with a certain patch or was it always like this for you ?

It happened occasionaly before Spa Day, but I'm noticing it a lot more with Spa Day installed. I can't really think of a particular starting point for the freezes unfortunatly.
