Ezranian Does the Gallery version of the household have the same issue for you? Please download it and test, in a new save if you prefer. Uploading to the Gallery can clear a lot of problems with sims or lots.
Separately, you can try splitting the household and testing each sim separately. It's possible only one of them is broken. That would make it easier to find the problem.
The gallery version also crashes the game, yes. I also just tried to load both the saved and gallery versions into the game through manage worlds and they both immediately crashed the game. I don't know how to split the household without loading them into either the world or CAS, so I can't be sure, but the crashing only started happening when I added a third sim to the household, so I think it's him that's the problem.
