Constant crashing on game startup
I have been struggling to get my game to load for 2 days now. i have been through every routine fix and nothing has worked. I have also tried factory resetting my entire computer (did not fix it), uninstalling and reinstalling the game (no fix), manually adding my graphics card to the graphics card file in the Bin folder (error message for missing graphics card came back on a fresh folder restart), reinstalled the latest update on my Nvidia graphics card (no change), as well as a host of other recommendations found online. I cannot figure it out and need help. Attached is my dxdiag and the last crash report from a fresh folder start. Please let me know if someone can figure out what the issue is. Thanks!
Confirming my computer is fixed. While there were a host of updates my computer needed, ultimately I used Google AI to trace the initial corruption back to the April 2026 Update. After completing a host of tests, once I realized the game lasted longer in the dx9 setting, it was able to pinpoint me back to a BIOS overclock issue. See the final result below. I recommend EVERYONE use Google AI to figure this out. I've been working on this issue for weeks, and in a matter of a few hours I was able to fix the game. Happy Simming!
