JuicyPeachx3 This is another issue with the VC++ runtimes. The question is why, since you already replaced the runtimes and the graphics driver. It's worth running a couple basic checks of your Windows system files to make sure some other resource isn't corrupted, for example a component of DirectX 11. Here's how:
- Hit Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
- After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
- Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
- Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
- Post the message you receive here
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards.
If that doesn't help, try switching to DirectX 9 mode. You shouldn't have to use it at all, but that could at least be a workaround that would allow you to play while you troubleshoot, or if you're tired of trying to fix the issue for now.
DX9 mode is a check box with the other graphics options, but if you can't get far enough in the loading process to select it, you can force DX9 in the EA App. Open the App, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx9 to the command line box.
