campbellcas23 Despite the wording, this error is most commonly triggered by an overly-protective antivirus. So please set exceptions in yours for TS4_x64.exe and EADeskop.exe. Add TS4_DX9_x64 and/or TS4_x64_fpb if you use the DirectX 9 or Memory Boost version of the game, respectively.
If that doesn't help, please list the antivirus you use.
I use Total AV, but I uninstalled it to see if that would fix the issue.
