I am so annoyed! I cant play! I have done LITERALLY EVERYTHING suggested and my game keeps crashing after this update! I paid good money to be able to play this game and everytime its an update its a new problem! EA PLEASE fix this! It is very unfair and I am beyond getting frustrated!

ou can also try to recover your old saves. Create a new save; no need to spend much time on it. Save your progress, quit, and move your old saves from the old folder to the new one. Make sure to renumber the newest save, that you just created, if it conflicts with one of your older saves.
Try again to load the game, and if you can get to the Main Menu, use Load Game to select an older save and play it. If the save is fine, you can continue playing it and save your progress; it might work again.
If removing the saves folder doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, if you can get that far.
If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
I have tried all of the above mentioned and still crashing every time I try to load my saved game. On a brand new save game works fine. I will attaché my DxDiag for you. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
no literally i just downloaded so much cc, wouldn't load or anything nothings broken so i deleted them, started my game, nothing AGAIN
Same boat im livid and if one person tells me to remove my saves.I HAVE ive done everything it wont work. Im livid ea needs to fix this
Hey this same thing happened to me and I tried all the options in this forum and got nothing. BUT! I found this forum and the answer here DID work!! Hope that it works for you too!

yukicross2337 If simply adding back the save file doesn't help, try adding back your mods and custom content too, updated versions if necessary. Some players have reported that this helps. If it helps you, please list the mods and cc you're using—I'd like to know for the benefit of other users.
