Create a sim MAJOR issues. Keeps freezing the game/won't save images.

Hello!  I'm super frustrated right now!

Firstly, I have more than the recommended stuff to run the game.

I can create a sim just fine, right up until it's time to save it, instead of playing it.  (using the save household option instead of play) If I try to save the household, the screen popups up but won't load any images.  If I try to do anything at that point (click save, or try to view the second empty image spot, or even try to close the window) the game stops responding.  The weird thing is the sim keeps moving around in the background, and music keeps playing just like nothing is wrong!  At that point I have to ctrl+alt+delete to get out of the game.  

I'm trying to save these households to upload them, but since it won't save any images the files are incomplete!

Not to mention that after 45 mins to an hour of custom creation (making celebrities) everything gets lost!!!!

I've done the "repair game" thing in origin 3 times.  I do have custom content but when this was a fresh install it did it immediately.

I do have the latest update.

ALSO!  This happened on my OLD pc as well, and is still happening on this brand new pc!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE help lol.
