I'm having a similar issue. I bought both and downloaded new kits (grunge and book nook) yesterday and while they show in my library as "installed" they are not showing up in game.
I've tried repairing my game, clearing the EA cache, restarting my pc, nothing is working. Very sad and frustrated.
I have sent through an error report but didn't save the report number assuming that it would be emailed to me but it wasn't.
Any advice greatly welcomed <3
- @porcelaincookies This is happening on consoles as well. I have the PS5. It says I own it but I need to download to play. I can't figure out how to get it to show on the PS5.
Hello I am unsure if this goes here or not but post it and see what happens.
i bought both the grunge revival kit & book nook dlc's through ea app, but unable to install it & the app says i dont own them don't know if this is a bug on store.
i have checked my email, my bank account & my account on ea website with order summary all said that i bought them Exept the ea launcher/app thing, i also tried quit launcher, relogged into account & repair game didn't work
How can i download them?
this is the 1st problem i have had with new app/launcher any help will be useful
Thank You.

My issue has resolved itself with time. I signed out and back into my EA app just now and my kit was available to download. All is well in my game now, looks like it just took almost three days to process the purchase. Here is some attached pics to show you mine is all goods now 🙂

I've just checked, as was out with friends yesterday, it wasn't showing, but clearing the cache has worked! :D
Another day - still the same problem.
I still don´t have access to my Nook Book Kit. I have so far tried everything anyone has posted in here. I uninstalled and reinstalled Sims 4, the EA App, deleted all my Sims folders to have a fresh start, Cleared my Cashe, Repaired the game and the EA App, logged out and in several times, restarted my PC several times, updated my Help request in the Service section (where noone has reacted ever since I posted it yesterday afternoon (so for USA Morning).
I am at a loss.. I am hoping at one point the Support will answer, fix or refund the pack because I am not spending the money twice because there is a bug.. and I am also getting a little impatient.. and sad- porcelaincookies3 years agoNew Novice
Same here, still not working for me. Also frustrated with the suggestions to contact EA Support when it's literally down right now and cannot be contacted afaik. Hoping they'll sort us a solution real soon.
Try these steps:
Verify that the app is updated to the latest version. Click Start>EA (folder)>EA Updater and wait for the app to be updated.
Then clear the app's cache. Click the 3 lines at the top left and choose Help>App Recovery. Click Clear Cache and wait for the app to restart. At that point close the app and restart the computer.
When you have reopened the app after restarting, click on the icon for The Sims 4 and choose Manage> Manage Add-ons and verify that the two kits are present and have the Download button. Then all you have to do is click on Download.
My issue is still ongoing as well. I hate to complain but it's really frustrating given the amount of money I've invested into this game over the years.
