Today I downloaded a few new pieces of cc. When I tried to enter the game and create a new sim, It won't show the sim at all. I've deleted over half of the cc I downloaded and only have 4 new things now and it still won't work. All I'm getting is this screen and I've never had these issues before. The game is also super laggy and takes forever to get to the loading screen. If anyone can help please!
@thesophienicole Please remove all of your custom content, delete localthumbcache.package from your Sims 4 folder as well, and then test. If that doesn't help, open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair; then test again with no cc added. Once you get CAS working properly, you can test the files you added most recently, but keep in mind that they may be corrupt or otherwise not work with your game's patch level. That could also cause the lag you described.
