@ajptwo What antivirus are you using?

@roberta591I just have what’s on the laptop (Microsoft defender) & I’ve add the sims folder & the EA Folder to the excluded list
No I’ve never even played before

@ajptwo In the firewall did you add the folder or the game executables (exe files)? You need to add the the .exe files for both the game and the EA app. Also try right clicks the desktop game icon and click run as administrator. Do you have more then one user login to that laptop? To determine if the firewall may be causing the issue you can turn it off and try the game but don't forget to turn it back on. If it's is a permission issue you try creating a new user with administration rights and try the game. If that works at least you'll know it's a permission issue. Also you could try to disable the UAC (user access control) to see if the is blocking the game. Try these one at a time as you may need to restore and troubleshoot why your having trouble with that feature.

Idk if it means anything but whenever I try to restart this EA app it crashes. I
I disabled the user access still no success.
I can’t open the app as an administrator.
