since the update i havent been able to open the game. ea said its due to problems on their end .i can play just fine on a fresh game file so i assumed it was my mods but even with them removed it wont load.
Rainycloudsyt Are you getting the "failed to load game" error, or something else? When you say you can play a fresh game file, do you mean a fresh Sims 4 folder, or something else? And are you saying that placing your old Sims 4 folder back, even with mods removed, leads to the same error?
If you can play fine in a new Sims 4 folder but not in the old one, then there's still a problem with the old one. You can instead copy files from the old folder to the new one, including your saves, but be sure to leave behind anything you don't need: keep saves, Tray files, Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those, and pretty much nothing else.
I don't see anything in your dxdiag that would explain this issue, although there are other problems that crop up when running Sims 4 on a Surface Pro 7. But there's no need to address those problems if they're not happening to you.
puzzlezaddict I'm getting the "failed to load game" error and i can play fine in a fresh sims folder but with my mods and tray files i cant play
