i've dug deep and cleaned my broken, corrupted, duplicate, cc and mods like a mad man. 0 outstanding issues within my mods folder at this point. last night i was getting a pop up after trying to load the game saying the game won't load due to an issue from EA's end. now i've done even more to try to fix this issue once and for all and that pop up message no longer appears, sims still just simply doesn't launch at all. i had downloaded new mods and cc yesterday and i thought that was the culprit. NOPE. i've sent a EA error report message twice and i'm still waiting for a response/ fix. anyone else dealing with this issue?

yooo me too its so devasted. i did so much and nothing.. im even thinking abt deleting my saved games. maybe its too corrupted but im too really sure. what makes this much more frustrating is my sister has been playing on there, no issues! ..
Yep, I am getting this too. Repairs, removal of mods, cache cleared, nothing...
Me too!!! Idk what happened after the big update it was fine before that !!
I eventually got in, I just kept trying: repairing, restarting, and with mods/saved removed. Then re-adding my folders worked fine.
I've tried EVERYTHING that I could think of - including deleting the old Sims4 game folder... (remember to take your screenshots, mods, and save games BEFORE DOING THIS...) then replacing it (copy & paste) with a NEW version of the game! I don't put anything back in the folder. I force my game to update from the previous version (a 2014 version) to the current version. I thought that last ditch effort WOULD'VE worked!
You MAY have better luck than me with this. Just remember to get your stuff out FIRST!
This is the "Error" message that I keep getting!
If you're using the Steam app, try repairing your game save file. I had the same problem, and repairing it allowed me to enter the game.
I have the same issue tried lots of solutions but nothings working so if you find a soulution pls share :)
Repair and restart your computer, Also get Plumbuddy to help see which mods are corrupting your game. hope this helps.
