i've dug deep and cleaned my broken, corrupted, duplicate, cc and mods like a mad man. 0 outstanding issues within my mods folder at this point. last night i was getting a pop up after trying to load the game saying the game won't load due to an issue from EA's end. now i've done even more to try to fix this issue once and for all and that pop up message no longer appears, sims still just simply doesn't launch at all. i had downloaded new mods and cc yesterday and i thought that was the culprit. NOPE. i've sent a EA error report message twice and i'm still waiting for a response/ fix. anyone else dealing with this issue?

I've tried EVERYTHING that I could think of - including deleting the old Sims4 game folder... (remember to take your screenshots, mods, and save games BEFORE DOING THIS...) then replacing it (copy & paste) with a NEW version of the game! I don't put anything back in the folder. I force my game to update from the previous version (a 2014 version) to the current version. I thought that last ditch effort WOULD'VE worked!
You MAY have better luck than me with this. Just remember to get your stuff out FIRST!
