I honestly don't think this issue should been moved to gameplay questions & issues... this got nothing to do with gameplay but is a technically issue/bug that now gotten buried because it's no longer in the most active section of bug reports. This is a major issue, saves randomly breaking so you can't even play them without completely crashing the game and getting loading error messages. And it's not even old and overly crowded saves, my save was newly made after the last 150+ bug fix update in nov. 2025. And I never had any mods and CC, while playing on PC, as never trusted that stuff. I'm so frustrated with all this. crinrict
Happened again!
I been playing all day and now after taking "Save and quit to main menu" I can't continue the save... not through "continue" and not through "load save"... recovered the save to 5 minutes earlier (which was saved through just save). I'm starting to worry that something might be wrong with the save and quit options.
No, that message actually has a pinned thread in pc tech (also pinned in bugs)
Going to split your post over there. I couldn't move it to PC tech before as OP didn't state what error they actually have nor what platform they are on
It's a bit of a generic message unfortunately but please try all the suggestions in the first post.
This has also been appearing for general crash issues and so many other causes. Do you have any lastExceptions as well ?

Solution so far: Recover to an earlier save in the games own save recovering system... so far I only need to go one or two back before I can re-enter the game normally and continue to play. Still irritating to have to do that tho. This morning when I started to play I had no issues getting in, but while stopping last night I first "saved manually and then quit" instead of taking the "save and quit" option.LadyAriancia your LE looks like this issue: LE: SingleSimResolver with unsupported participant/110:83165b0 | EA Forums - 12553735
