No, that message actually has a pinned thread in pc tech (also pinned in bugs)
Going to split your post over there. I couldn't move it to PC tech before as OP didn't state what error they actually have nor what platform they are on
It's a bit of a generic message unfortunately but please try all the suggestions in the first post.
This has also been appearing for general crash issues and so many other causes. Do you have any lastExceptions as well ?
From the latest crashes that seem to be somehow connected to the "save and exit" options I got:

Solution so far: Recover to an earlier save in the games own save recovering system... so far I only need to go one or two back before I can re-enter the game normally and continue to play. Still irritating to have to do that tho. This morning when I started to play I had no issues getting in, but while stopping last night I first "saved manually and then quit" instead of taking the "save and quit" option.
