Ever since I installed the new updates, I have been unable to play The Sims. The game refuses to load; instead, it crashes before even reaching the loading screen. I keep getting an error message that says there was an issue on EA's end that caused the game to fail to load. I do play with mods, but this almost feels like that marketplace was created to break our mods. I'm a long-time Sims player, and I love the game. I have purchased every pack since the Sims original came out back in 2000. These last few updates have been the most disappointing Sims experiences I've ever had. I really don't want to lose my mods, and I really hope this isn't a ploy to make us purchase CC from the new marketplace.
gicynda30 Please test with your Mods fold removed. If that helps, and your mods and cc are in fact fine (updated or confirmed compatible with the game), you likely have this issue:
