I went on vacation at the beginning of March and my game was working perfectly. When I came back and decided to play again about a week ago, I installed the recommended update. Since then, I haven't been able to load my save anymore.
Even without any mods, after repairing the game, and even when trying to recover my save, the issue is still there.
Whenever I try to load my game, it crashes, and EA shows me a message saying that the game could not be launched due to an error on our end. Please try again later. However I did try again later (even several days later), and it's still the same problem !
When I try to recover my save, the loading screen just keeps loading indefinitely!
I am very pissed, and I don't understand how an update that is supposed to fix bugs can completely break my game (and probably cause me to lose my save)
Do you get the failed to launch only with mods/cc and infinite loading without any mods/cc ?
Yea. The new update DESTROYED cc. It also made it so people can't launch. There was a hotfix too. I ran it as well. I can get on, I have most of my cc back, but all my CAS body swatches(hair, eyes, skin details etc.) are all messed up or bad textured. Good luck.
