Vaderismycat123 Please try a few things for me, together:
- Clear the EA App's cache
- Open C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop and launch EAUpdater.exe, which will force the App to update if an update is available
- Open the App, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and if you see anything at all in the command line box, remove it and save
Additionally, right-click the Sims 4 desktop shortcut and select Properties > Compatibility. If there is any compatibility mode or fullscreen optimization selected, or the game is set to run as an admin, remove these settings. And let me know if you've applied any other setting here.
If you don't have a desktop shortcut, open [install location]\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and do the same for TS4_x64.exe and TS4_Launcher_x64.exe inside.
StarZee22 These troubleshooting steps are for you too; I asked around and got some suggestions.
puzzlezaddict I followed the steps of what you sent and my game still doesn't seem to be working. Nothing is selected in the compatibility tab and EA doesn't need an update either.
(I also use Microsoft defender)
